To say that I am thrilled to bits with my new kitchen would be an understatement, it is everything I had hoped for and more. I was a little apprehensive at the start of the process as it had been a long time since I had had a kitchen installed and this was such a small space (3m by 2m)with restricted daylight that I wasn’t sure much could be done with it but from the start Dominic came up with some great suggestions to consider ( moving the oven, a selection of better lighting etc) and was equally skilled in offering appropriate materials for me to look at. In fairness I had a budget to keep to but this wasn’t a problem and I was able to get the kitchen I wanted at a very fair price. Chris also had a full understanding of what was proposed and if Dominic wasn’t available to discuss something I had thought of then Chris was on the ball. Neither of them made me feel as if my concerns or ideas were a problem and as I already had a Blue Water bathroom I knew it would be alright. Following this I was given a ‘timetable’ of who would come and what would be carried out and it flowed perfectly, this in itself gave me great confidence that all would be ok. Sean was my kitchen fitter, he was exceptional, he dealt with absolutely everything that cropped up and discussed items with me on the way, including a faulty door that was replaced in less than twenty four hours, the skip and the deliveries all arrived on time as did Cameron the electrician and Tom the plasterer. Everyone without exception worked well and kept the place clean and tidy all the time. Blue Water can be very proud of its work force and contractors and exceptionally high standard of work. I would thoroughly recommend considering this company if you are thinking about a new kitchen or bathroom.

From first contact to completion of the bathroom and ensuite, the process was very smooth. The sales team were very friendly and provided very good advice and options that would best fit our needs. Great choice of quality products, with very knowledgeable staff. The fitter talked us through everything they were doing when it came to the installation, including an option to improve the space available in our ensuite. The quality of workmanship and the final finish is first class. Cannot fault anything and I would not hesitate in recommended Bluewater to anyone.

It is rare these days to find a company where customer service is exemplary. However, I would say that despite the kitchen process being long, and involving contact with numerous people, Bluewater succeeded in providing a seamlessly high standard throughout. From our initial interviews with the painstaking, considerate Dominic, to the daily friendly and competent dealings with Matt, we felt looked after and cared about. Nothing was too much trouble. Dominic spent a long time ensuring we had exactly what we wanted, despite us not knowing what we wanted. His advice took into account our needs but came from an area of expertise that prevented us from pitfalls and when I completely changed my mind, he was helpful and obliging. The kitchen fitting process is stressful but the constant stream of tradesmen, led by the ebullient Matt, were all unfailingly polite, punctual and tidy. The project management was efficient - we had a timetable which was largely adhered to, and both Matt and Dominic were in regular communication with us, so we were never in the dark. The resulting kitchen is well designed and beautiful and I would like to extend my thanks to Dominic and Matt for a job well done. I think Bluewater kitchens are not cheap. But the care, consideration, together with the time and effort taken, to achieve the best result, plus the quality of the product are worth it I cannot recommend them more highly.

We needed to quickly secure a replacement kitchen of good quality, at an affordable price. We initially obtained 2 local prices and Bluewater produced the best price and the best design. Dominic was very attentive and helped us achieve the right price and clearly confirmed any compromises which was extraordinarily helpful. Their fitters were good too and equally as attentive to detail. A very good experience.

I have used Bluewater for a new kitchen in 2023 and a new bathroom in 2024. Both installations have been completed on time and professionally. Any minor problems have been resolved promptly as well. In short, I would recommend Bluewater to anyone.

We are delighted with our bathroom. From the very beginning we have been impressed with the service. Adrian produced a design which exactly met our requirements, and was very patient whilst we considered the various options available. We were particularly impressed with the fitter Tommy, who was extremely hard working, conscientious, and completed the bathroom to a high standard. A very good experience from planning to installation. I thought knew exactly what I wanted but Adrian had some excellent design ideas which have turned out very well. Tom the bathroom fitter was very conscientious, kept us informed of his progress and discussed fitting of tiles etc. They respected our home and kept it as clean as possible (dust gets everywhere). The other trades turned up on time so as not to hold up any of the work. I would 100% recommend Bluewater Bathrooms.

From our first visit to the showroom to the completion of the work the whole process ran smoothly. The showroom staff were knowledgeable and helpful, and Adrian produced a design and recommended products which worked with our slightly eccentric plumbing arrangements. We were particularly impressed with our fitter, Darren, who worked tirelessly; kept us informed and checked with us before finalising the position of items; and finished the job to a very high standard. We would happily use Bluewater again and have no hesitation in recommending them.

Fantastic service from start to finish transforming our kitchen/dining room and utility room. It wasn't a small project, but we felt completely at ease throughout the whole process. Very very happy to recommend this company. We visited Bluewater Bathrooms and spoke to Mark, our project manager, he was very knowledgeable about all aspects of the complete re-fit of our en-suite bathroom. He answered all our questions, came out to measure up and check our requirements. He was able to give us a detailed quote and when we paid a 10% deposit we were able to secure our fitting start date. Their lead time was around 12 weeks at that time. The work started in March 2024, as agreed, and took around 2 weeks. Ed, our main plumber & fitter was fantastic. He kept us informed of what he was doing everyday, listened carefully to our requirements and any concerns we had, which were few. His wall and floor tiling were exceptional and we are very pleased with the overall results. Ed tidied up every day and was friendly and cheerful, even when he'd had a difficult day, many thanks Ed! We would also like to thank Cameron who was key to the electrical upgrades/fittings for a power shower/extractor/mirror/lights etc. The plasterers did an excellent job too. Thanks also to Peter who was with Ed at key moments in the work and immediately afterwards when we had a few small issues which were dealt with very quickly. I'm happy to confirm that 6 months on our bathroom is everything we hoped for and more, high quality fittings and a luxurious experience when using it. We received guarantees for all the work and Electrical certificates confirming everything complied with building/electrical regulations. We also know that if we ever experience any issues, Bluewater Bathrooms will respond, find the problem and fix it quickly. Their reputation is very important to them and this is reflected in their high standards of work and customer service, it's also why we chose them after much research, they are simply the best!

We purchased a Victorian semi-detached house with a severely outdated bathroom. After seeking multiple quotes from bathroom fitters, we were informed that the drain system was too high, meaning the shower would need to be fitted 4 inches above the ground unless we paid for costly pipework (the pipes were external, boxed into a hard-to-access roof void). Additionally, the toilet waste pipe was boxed inside a channel running along the side of the room. Most builders left with the familiar phrase, "We’ll call you"... but they never did. Eventually, we decided to visit local showrooms and researched all the fitting companies we could find in the York area. In the end, we chose Bluewater, as they had great reviews and, most importantly for us, they use their own fitting teams. Adrian helped us choose the items for our bathroom and guided us through the design process. He printed out the plans for us to take home and gave us time to think them over. He was incredibly patient, even when we dropped by the showroom without an appointment to change our design on multiple occasions. Danny was our fitter, and I’ve never met anyone so positive. He genuinely seems to enjoy his work, which shows in the professional pace and high standard he maintains. He kept us updated on progress, listened to our suggestions and was always conscious of keeping the workspace and our house nice and clean. Upon completion, we couldn’t find a single fault – everything was flawless. During the installation, Danny reviewed the existing pipework and took the extra time to reroute it. Thanks to this, the shower could be installed flush with the floor, and the internal pipes were hidden behind the wall. Given that we had previously been told by other builders this would be expensive to achieve we were delighted. Danny was the true star of the show, we cannot thank him enough. Unfortunately, I did not catch the name of the plasterer or electrician although their work was of an equally high standard. With Bluewater, you certainly see a huge difference in quality when compared to a business that uses an outsourced fitting company. If you're looking for a new bathroom in York, we highly recommend Bluewater. The quality of their work and their customer service are second to none.

Having shopped around for some time to decide who to choose to take on our complete bathroom makeover, we opted to select Bluewater. What a fantastic decision this turned out to be! We initially visited the showroom in York, where we were greeted by Adrian, who showed lots of patience and interest in our initial questions. He was very knowledgeable and helpful, without being at all pushy or making us feel pressurized to make quick decisions. Impressed by what we saw in the showroom, and with the guidance and information we were given, we worked with Adrian to talk through design options and suitable products, including a home visit by him to determine the possibilities. We then returned to the showroom to make our final product selections and see for ourselves on computer-generated images how this would look in practice. Our bathroom needed a complete refit: completely new flooring; full wall tiling; new bath, shower, toilet, sink and illuminated mirror; as well as installing a heated towel rail (which involved relocating from our old radiator position), and removal of old ceiling lighting to fit spotlights. As we had decided on a concealed cistern toilet, we also need a stud wall constructing. When the time came for the installation to take place, we couldn’t have been more pleased with our experience. Our bathroom fitter, Tommy, was exceptional. He was an extremely polite and pleasant man, who is obviously very experienced in his work and highly-skilled at what he does. He worked diligently and efficiently throughout, was always punctual and completed the project to the highest of standards. Additional tradesmen (i.e. the electrician, plasterer and skip management) who were involved, arrived promptly and on schedule when required, making the whole experience run like clockwork, with no wasted time. Absolutely brilliant from start to finish – we highly recommend Bluewater!
